The Kissner Group acquires Detroit Salt Company to become a leader in the North American Salt Market

The Kissner Group, a leading manufacturer of premium quality blended ice melt products, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Detroit Salt Company, a historic salt mine in North America with 100 years of operation. This initiative is highly strategic, as it enhances Kissner’s production flexibility, product offerings and most importantly, secures a consistent supply of salt.
